Every home and every project is different, and while the needs of each project may change, our underlying approach to how we treat you and your home remain rooted in the same care, attentiveness and expertise we express in every job.

Tell us about your project

1.

Every project starts with a conversation. Before we talk timelines or numbers, we want to understand what you're trying to achieve, what's been on your mind, and whether we're the right fit for the job.

There's no obligation at this stage, just an honest conversation. We'll ask a few questions to understand the scope, flag anything worth thinking through early, and give you a clear sense of what working with us looks like.

  • Get in touch by phone or through our website contact form. The more context you can give us upfront, the better. Here's what's helpful to include:

    • What type of project you're considering

    • Where you're located

    • Roughly when you'd like to get started

    • Any inspiration photos, existing drawings, or design ideas you already have

    • A rough budget range

You don't need to have everything figured out at this stage, even a general idea of what you're after is enough to get the conversation going.

  • We'll set up a quick call, usually lasting 15–20 minutes, to learn more about the project and make sure we're a good fit before scheduling a site visit. It helps to have thought about what's prompting the renovation, what you'd like the end result to look and feel like, and any constraints or decisions you've already made. The more we understand going in, the more useful the on-site consultation will be.

  • If the call feels like a good fit, we'll schedule an on-site consultation at a time that works for you. This is where we get into the detail, walking the space, asking the right questions, and building a clear picture of the project. No cost, no obligation.

On-Site Consultation

2.

We come to you. Every project gets an in-person visit so we can see the space firsthand, understand what's involved, and give you accurate information.

This visit is also a chance to get to know each other. We want you to feel comfortable with who will be working in your home, and we want to make sure we fully understand your goals before putting together a quote.

  • We'll schedule a time to come and walk through the project with you in person. Bring any inspiration photos, plans, or questions you've been sitting on. This is the right time to get into the details.

  • During the visit we'll assess the space, identify anything that could affect the project (structure, existing conditions, permit requirements), and talk through your priorities and preferences. If there are decisions to be made, we'll help you think through them clearly.

A Firm Quote, Not an Estimate

3.

After the consultation, we provide a detailed written quote. So you know exactly what you're committing to before any work begins. We believe clear pricing is the foundation of a trustworthy relationship.

Once the quote is ready, we'll walk you through every line together so you have a clear understanding of the full scope before work begins.

  • We put together a detailed, itemized quote based on everything we discussed on-site. This covers labour, materials, and any subcontracted trades — clearly laid out so nothing is buried in vague line items.

  • We'll go through the quote with you in person or over a call. If you have questions about why something is included, what a line item covers, or how we arrived at a number, just ask. We'd rather spend time here than have any confusion later.

  • If the quote comes back and you'd like to adjust the scope, add something, simplify something, or phase the work differently, we'll work through that with you before anything is locked in.

Scheduling & Kickoff

4.

Once you've approved the quote, we get you on the schedule and walk you through what to expect from start to finish. Before work begins, you'll have a clear picture of the timeline, who will be on site, and how the project will unfold.

Good projects start with good preparation. We coordinate materials, trades, and logistics ahead of time so that when work begins, it begins properly.

  • We'll agree on a start date and give you a clear picture of the project timeline, including how long we expect each phase to take and when any subcontracted trades are planned to come in.

  • Before the crew arrives, we make sure materials are ordered, the site plan is confirmed, and everyone involved knows what's expected. We handle the all the coordination.

  • On the first morning, we'll do a quick walkthrough together to confirm everything is aligned, answer any last questions, and make sure you're comfortable with how the project is starting.

Clean Site, Clear Communication

5.

Once work is underway, you'll always know what's happening and why. We keep you informed throughout the project and treat your home with the same care we'd want for our own.

A lot can happen over the course of a renovation. We believe the best way to handle the unexpected is through honest, timely communication.

  • At the end of every working day, the site gets cleaned up. Tools are put away, debris is managed, and your home is left in a reasonable state. We don't wait until the end of the project to think about tidiness.

  • We keep you in the loop as the project progresses, what was completed, what's coming next, and if anything has changed. If a decision needs to be made, we'll bring it to you clearly and promptly.

  • If something comes up mid-project that affects the scope or cost, we'll explain what we found, what it means, and what the options are before proceeding. No surprises on the invoice.

Final Walkthrough & Standing Behind Our Work

6.

When the work is complete, we do a thorough walkthrough together before we consider the job done. And once we leave, we don't disappear, we stand behind everything we've built.

Our reputation is built one project at a time. We take pride in the work that leaves our name on it, and we're always a phone call away if a question or concern comes up after the job is complete.

  • Before we pack up for the last time, we walk through the completed work with you. This is your opportunity to look closely, ask questions, and make sure everything meets your expectations. We won't rush this.

  • If anything needs a final touch or adjustment, we take care of it before sign-off. We'd rather spend an extra hour getting it right than leave you with something that bothers you later.

  • If something comes up after we've wrapped up, a question about maintenance, a minor concern, anything at all, please reach out. We stand behind our work and we'll make it right.
